Hides from naturally deceased animals only · vegetable-tanned in Tuscany
Our promise
This is not fashion.
This is inheritance.
Leather remembers the hands that made it.

Sixty hours, one pair of hands
Every Emilio Moretti jacket is cut from a single hide, stitched on the same machines we have used for decades, and finished by one artisan from first cut to final buckle.
The hide
Vegetable-tanned in Tuscany over weeks, selected by hand for grain and weight.
The cut
A single artisan cuts every panel from one hide so the jacket ages as one.
The finish
Hand-set hardware, hand-finished seams, and a lifetime of free repairs.
Firenze
The city it was made for
Four moments, one afternoon in Florence. No studio, no stand-in — the same jackets we cut by hand, worn where they belong.
Four generations, cut and finished by hand
Since 1917, the Moretti house has cut and finished every jacket by hand — the same machines, the same patience, handed down through four generations of the same family.
- Every jacket hand-cut and hand-finished
- Hides from naturally deceased animals only
- Vegetable-tanned, never rushed
- Repaired for life, never disposable
