Returns & Exchanges

Standard sizes — 14 days to decide.
If a standard-size piece is not right, you may return it within 14 days of delivery. We only ask that it comes back as it left us: unworn beyond trying on, undamaged and in its original condition, with all tags attached and in its original packaging.

Returns are free and simple:

  1. Write to info@emiliomoretti.com with your order number.
  2. We send you a prepaid return label the same working day.
  3. Ship the piece to our returns address in Rotterdam.
  4. Your refund is issued to your original payment method within 14 days of the piece reaching us — including your original shipping cost.

The full street address is printed on the prepaid return label we send you. Please do not ship a return without that label.

Exchanges

Wrong size? Tell us — we will cut the correct size and collect the first one. You pay nothing extra.

Made to order & made to measure

A jacket cut to your personal measurements exists for one body: yours. Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(c)), pieces made to a consumer's specifications are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal, and made-to-measure orders can therefore not be returned or cancelled once cutting has begun.

What we promise instead:

  • Before cutting, our atelier reviews your measurements and writes to you if anything looks unusual.
  • If the finished piece does not fit as it should, we alter it once, free of charge, including shipping both ways.
  • And like every Moretti, it is repaired for life.

Faulty pieces

If a piece arrives damaged or develops a genuine defect, EU legal guarantees apply in full — made to measure or not. Write to us with photographs and we will repair, replace or refund, at your choice where the law provides it, at our cost. This never expires quietly: your statutory rights under Dutch law (minimum 2 years) are untouched by anything on this page.

The right of withdrawal — formal version

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase of standard-size items within 14 days of delivery, without giving any reason. To exercise it, inform us by an unambiguous statement (e-mail to info@emiliomoretti.com). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the item.
